In 1990, Guro Tony decided to share the knowledge of his Warrior Art and opened his first Kali school and began teaching The Art of Marcial Tirada to the public. In 1998, he was inducted into the Philippine Martial Arts Hall of fame, in Ohio & Texas.

Guro Mark Ullman has trained in Kali under Punong Guro Tony Marcial since 1995. He contracted viral meningitis during the first year of training, with some resultant nerve damage. So there are many benefits to studying the Art of Marcial Tirada Kali.
Currently teaching high school, Guro Mark also works as a tennis instructor. Kali training benefits this other "stick" art as well. He also continues to enjoy expanding his knowledge of his traditional Martial Arts of The Philippines.
